Like, I think, a lot of women, my makeup table is overflowing with makeup products. But really overflowing... All the compartments are completely full and my table top itself is also as full as it can be. And then I also have a little cabinet that stores a few things.... Not just makeup, but still. What can I say? I just love makeup! Despite the fact that on a normal (work) day I only wear some mascara and sometimes I also do my eyebrows and lips, I find it great to go for something a little more out of the ordinary on special days (literally, since I have to open the drawers again 😂)... On days like this you will see me with a smooth complexion (read: with foundation and concealer, bronzer, highlighter and blush), made up eyes (mascara, eye shadow, occasionally eyeliner) and neat eyebrows and lips. You only won't see me wearing fake eyelashes that often 🙈. The brands I have are around range from budget to high-end brands; Essence, Catrice, L'oréal Paris, Maybelline, Bobbi Brown, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, etc, etc, etc. I could go on and on 🤭. I find it very fun and relaxing to do my makeup and test new products with some music on; it has something therapeutic? Although I have to admit that I am not a makeup stylist who can create beautiful works of art on my face, but hey, practice makes perfect! Despite all that testing, I still haven't found my 'holy grails'. Especially when it comes to mascara, I have quite a few requirements. So for example, what is the best mascara? Which foundation is best for my skin? And what color do I need? Which color lipstick is my My Lips But Better lipstick (read: my MLBB lipstick) and which shade looks good with my skin tone, hair color and eyes? You can read all this and more here!
